Randy Orton, John Morrison, R-Truth & Evan Bourne def. Chris Jericho, Edge, Ted DiBiase & United States Champion The Miz
WWE Superstars, take note: Snakes don’t run in packs. As if to prove the point, The Viper, Randy Orton, turned his back on his partners to make a quick strike for the Money in the Bank briefcase after their Eight-Man Tag Team Match.

Orton was teamed with John Morrison, R-Truth & Evan Bourne in a bout against Chris Jericho, Edge, Ted DiBiase & United States Champion The Miz. In a prelude to the Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match, each of that match’s competitors fought in the tag match as arranged by Raw’s mystery GM. While each man attempted to showcase their dominance and gain a modicum of psychological advantage, it was Orton whose fangs sank deep when he leveled DiBiase with an RKO.

Raw General Manager Bret Hart arranged Raw Viewer's Choice Night for next Monday
Despite a financial offer from Ted DiBiase, Raw General Manager Bret Hart refused to relinquish the reins of power for next week’s Raw. Instead, at the suggestion of special guest host Ashton Kutcher, next week “Hit Man” will allow the WWE Universe to voice their opinions on WWE.com by choosing the matches, stipulations and opponents they want to see compete during the first-ever, three-hour Raw Viewer's Choice Night, featuring Superstars from both Raw and SmackDown. Even the WWE Hall of Famer’s longtime nemesis, Mr. McMahon, dropped by to congratulate Hart on his new role and to offer his seeming support for the idea.

Special guest host Jon Lovitz conducted “WWE Superstar Search”
The movie star and Saturday Night Live alum hosted a “WWE Superstar Search.” The search began when The Great Khali was joined by Ranjin Singh for a milk-curdling rendition of Taco’s classic hit, “Putting on the Ritz.” Next up, before Jillian Hall could even begin her cat-trapped-in-a-kettle singing, Lovitz cut her off. For the final act, a contestant stepped forward from the crowd with a bizarre talent that involved dislodging his eyeball.

Afterward, Ted DiBiase, accompanied by Virgil, angled to purchase the “eye-popping” orb. When Santino interfered, however, DiBiase nailed him with Dream Street and left the Italian nursing his wounds.

R-Truth def. Ted DiBiase
All the money in his trust fund couldn’t buy Ted DiBiase a victory over R-Truth at Over the Limit. The “Fortunate Son” thought that hiring his father’s old manservant and manager, Virgil, would be enough to ensure him a victory in his first pay-per-view singles match. However, even with the Million Dollar Man’s former attendant in tow, DiBiase could not secure the victory over R-Truth.

After his first WrestleMania match, Ted DiBiase not only inherited the Million Dollar Championship, but he was also granted access to a trust fund set up by his father, the Million Dollar Man. With an exorbitant amount of cash at his disposal, the “Fortunate Son” began to use the money to his advantage, living a richer lifestyle. He also felt that he was entitled to having a servant and manager just as Virgil was to his father. When DiBiase ordered R-Truth to carry his bags while in the locker room, implying the rapping Superstar become the new “Virgil,” R-Truth responded by slapping the arrogant son of the WWE Hall of Famer in the face.

With the rivalry coming to a head at Over the Limit, feeling he did not need a new “Virgil,” Ted DiBiase rehired the real Virgil, a man who always ensured his father’s success inside the ring. As the battle in Detroit pushed both Superstars to their boundaries, R-Truth's greater experience in the ring proved to be too much for the "Fortunate Son." Even with Virgil in his corner, R-Truth's quickness allowed him to take the upper hand in the match and let the arrogant trust-funded Superstar know “what’s up.”

While R-Truth may have been victorious, there’s no limit to how much money Ted DiBiase will spend to get his revenge.
